Phytohormones in the regulation on growth and development of water ferns of Salviniaceae family: a review

Water ferns of the Salviniaceae family are successfully used for bioremediation and bioindication contaminated waters. Due to intensive propagation they able produce a great volume biomass enriched with natural plant growth regulators. Simultaneously, water have become an impediment use resources through fast spread. Their development is under control phytohormones, which main chemical messengers regulating responses environmental changes. Today hormonal system remains understudied. In this review, we analyzed summarized literature data results our own research about role auxins, cytokinins, gibberellic, abscisic, salicylic jasmonic acids in regulation from Salvinia Azolla genera emphasizing specific hallmarks these phytohormones ferns. We submitted brief information methodological approaches endogenous determination family. The effects exogenous regulators on growth, tolerance macrophytes were discussed, as well possibility using create ecological biofertilizers.
